Valentines and all that stuff

This week was half term, which means I don't get much chance to go to the gym. Although Faye is at home also, Graces incredible social calendar meant that I got to the gym only once.

We had a friend to visit on Monday and they stayed for lunch. Tuesday we went Ice skating, this time I didn't get blisters, but my new found bravery meant that I have a very bruised derrier and my friends husband has now started calling me Bambi.

Wednesday we went bowling with friends from school and today I have managed to get to the gym yayyyyy! I had a good run on the treadmill and did some floor work. Tomorrow I'm taking Grace swimming at the gym, we are going with my friend that I normally meet there and her son, and then we are going somewhere for lunch, so atleast I will get there in some capacity.

Last night was my much awaited trip to the Birmingham Academy to see the Guillemots, and they were definitely worth the wait. If you haven't heard of them check out my favourite of their songs on my Myspace. Grace really wished she could have gone, but as she is only 6 and it was a very smokey atmosphere, it was totally impossible. Its a shame because she really loves them and puts the cd on in my car as soon as we get in, she always puts no'5 on she calls it 'the whale song' but its actually the title track and its called 'Through the window pane' but there is a sound like a whale would make at the beginning. Still next year they will play the NEC and it will be smoke free so she will be able to go. (They're not scheduled to play there, its just my opinion)

Grace finishes her course of cipro and her booster course of steroids today. She is now back to 10ml prednisalone every other day and back on septrin from tomorrow. She has started to show signs of a cough the last few days, just as we are getting to the end of the course. She appears to be well and has coped very well this week with all of our adventurous trips out, but I can't really tell until she is back at school. She has a couple of weeks back in her normal routine before we have to see Dr's S and W at the hospital on 6 March, so hopefully I will have enough comments to make by then.
